Welcome to the Arc of Buffalo County

The Arc of Buffalo County is a private non-profit organization which provides services and advocacy to people with developmental disabilities and their families. We provide information, support and networking to people with disabilities and their families through a quarterly newsletter, one-on-one contacts, group presentations and a variety of programs including:

  • People First of Kearney
  • Support for an Ecumenical Sunday School Class
  • Free Respite at the Kidzone every 1st Thursday, 6-8pm
  • Key partner with Kearney Inclusive Recreation Project
    KIRP - Recreation for people with disabilities of all ages
  • Arc at the Y on Fridays from 6:30-8pm
  • Buddy Bowling
  • Teens and Youth in Action
  • Individualized recreation and Respite for all ages
  • Dances, picnics, and outings
